My Shadow

As I was on my walk this morning I was watching my shadow and my mind drifted away seeing a young and carefree girl skipping in the sun, this girl enjoyed her life and words like stress and fatigue were not in her vocabulary.I thought how nice to be her, then I realised I am :)

Chat With Charm

I have joined a new challenge site Chat with Charm it is a great site with loads of awesome challenges. The first challenge I chose to do was from Scrapping the Music - challenge#168 Closer to Fine. The photo was taken by Sandie Mallon

Art Journal

Well after 17 years of full time work and wishing that I was anywhere else, the time has come...I am now unemployed and loving it :) To celebrate my freedom I have started an art journal (something that has interested me for a long time) At the moment I am doing a creative art class run by Tamara Laporte and the first few pages of my journal are practise pages for her classes!

I have also managed a little bit of scrapping this year!

Happy Birthday Tara

What a busy day! We started the day out by driving up to Harvey to pick up Ian's new toy :)
Tara, Ash, Kiri and Hayley came over to celebrate Tara's 20th Birthday and we all watched the Footy Grand Final (what an anti-climax) Of course I had to round out a perfect day with loads of photos of my gorgeous Granddaughter :)

At the moment I am caught up in the amazing world that I see through the lens of my camera!! I am addicted to taking photos! I wanted to have some photos taken for Tara and Ash to celebrate their first baby and I asked Sandie to come down and tke them for us! Lucky for me she agreed and on the 14th Feb 2010 she made the trip down to Capel and we had a wonderful day and ended up with some gorgeous photos. Here are a few of my favourites!
