Journey to a Healthy Me!!

After having a whinge about feeling lazy and unfit I finally decided to take the first step and start walking. My goal is to walk at least 4 times a week. I am aiming for little goals...small steps!! A few kilos a month would be nice anything more would be great!!

So this is me at the beginning of my journey :)

Boredom!!

I am sitting here waiting for Ian to come home..blog hopping!! I have cleaned the house, chatted at Bons and visited purple scraps for their CC. Everyone has gone to bed over at Bons so now I am chatting to myself :) It is pouring with rain outside..beautiful Spring night! If only the rain would settle my blasted hayfever.. but it doesn't :(

For a Short Time I had a Life!!

Well I've been prompted to update! Forgive me it has been one month since my last post :)
Since then Ian has been home and we headed to the Midwest for a few days of LIFE and checked out the Wildflowers. Now the girls over at Bons had a great time with this one as it had been 6 weeks since I had seen Ian :) Just to prove we did indeed check out the Wildflowers we took a couple of photos!!

Little Man

I added a few of my own touches to the final layout and then entered it in to the lovely Sandies September challenge at Bonsscraps!

This photo is of the first time I met my gorgeous Grandson Jett, which was the day we went to the zoo in Perth.

Carousel

The photo is of Codie on her first carousel ride. She absolutely loved it. She was like the little Queen waving each time she came past us. It was so gorgeous to watch and I am so glad I was able to be there! Iwant to experience as many of these moments as I can with my Grandchildren :)

The Zoo!

Today I went to the zoo with the kids and the grandkids. The animals were all shy today so we didn't see very many but we had a lot of fun being together! It was the first time I have seen Jett and he is now three weeks old! The only sad note was the Ian couldn't be with us, we missed him!

Dog Jackets

These are the gorgeous jackets my Mum made for our freezing Staffies. Don't they look fabulous :)

Don't be fooled by their faces..they love being warm and snug!!

First Layout

This layout was created for Sandies August Challenge over at Bonsscraps. I made the letters out of an aluminium can and ran it through the cuttlebug!!

It is the first layout I have created for Jett. I haven't seen him in person yet but I am hoping to visit him real soon!!

New Grandson

Today Jett Alexander came in to the world. He is my second Grandchild!! He weighed 10lb 3!!
I have to wait to go visit and get my first pics. I already have the layout waiting just need to add the picture :)
On a sad note today was also the day we closed up my Nana's house. She is in hospital and cannot return home :(
Once a place becomes available she will be moved in to an aged hostel!!
Such a bittersweet day..I have been in tears of sadness and of joy!!

Been Busy!!

Wow I have had a busy month..joined in with the BONanza over at Bonsscraps in June. What an awesome month it was. Pushed all my scrapping boundaries with the DT setting excellent challenges. It was so much fun chatting and looking at other peoples interpretations of the challenges. So much gorgeous work went up in the gallery.

We put the dog beds out to air in the sun and the dogs stayed on them all day!! Pity they don't stay on them when they are inside!

Scrap Scrap Scrap

Well we have a long weekend here and I have been scrapping almost non stop. Just stopping for sleep and a bit of house cleaning!! I have been enjoying the CC challenges Of Bonsscraps. I have completed all four challenges!! Whew! Most scrapping I have done for a very long time. I am generally a 1 page per 6 week type scrapper!

TIGER TEMPLE

I started this page down at my scrappy weekend at the Scrappy Cow. The inspiration for the layout came from a page by Kareena. I have just finished it off with the help from some wonderful girls at Bonsscraps. I needed help with distressing the notepaper for my journalling and had many helpful hints. Thanks girls!!
